The Vineyards

Risdal Ranch, formerly known as Shafer Vineyard, is one of the oldest vineyards in Oregon and is located in the Willamette Valley AVA. Our Chardonnay from this site, comes from own rooted vines planted in 1974 on ancient volcanic soils.

Finnigan Hill Vineyard is an organically grown, high elevation vineyard in the Chehalem Mountains AVA and is planted on Laurelwood soils.

Azana Vineyard is a high elevation, biodynamically farmed vineyard located in the Chehalem Mountains AVA and is planted on volcanic soils.

2017 Vintage

A cold, snowy winter led into a wet spring and warm, dry growing season with good fruit development. Record-breaking heat spikes and regional wildfires burned throughout summer. End of season rain brought relief from the heat.
